Dynamic Load Balancing Support for Win2K3 Clusters

We have an EVA5000 SAN, used mostly for our highly critical SQL Servers, most of which are setup in 2 node clusters, running Windows Server 2003, with dual HBAs and Securepath Manager v4.0c. I have recently realized (to my frustration) that although Securepath Manager V4.0c does support dynamic load balancing for Cluster Servers running Windows Server 2000, it does NOT support dynamic load balancing for Cluster Servers running Windows Server 2003!

Why is that, and when will it be fixed? I can not manage the disk I/O performance of this many high end SQL clusters manually, and do not want to downgrade these critical systems to Windows Server 2000 just to take advantage of SAN load balancing.

Thanks.

Have you tried manually load balancing your paths?

Could be an interim workaround.

Yes, we are manually load balancing the paths now, but that model is not scalable, and not supportable long term.

Can someone from HP comment on when dynamic load balancing will be supported for Windows 2003 server clusters for the EVA5000 platform?
