Emx driver error
Hi All,
I have a customer with an ES40 running Tru64 5.1B, at a boot time, logged in the messages file and in the kern.log file, he receive the following message:
Mar 15 22:22:31 ES40 vmunix: KGPSA-CA : Driver Rev 2.14 : F/W Rev 3.92A2(2.30A1)
: wwn 1000-0000-c924-351d
Mar 15 22:22:31 ES40 vmunix: emx0: Using console topology setting of : Fabric
Mar 15 22:22:31 ES40 vmunix: EMX DRIVER ERR: emx0: emx_cam_sio_done - FCP protoc
ol error 0x4
Mar 15 22:22:31 ES40 vmunix:
Mar 15 22:22:31 ES40 vmunix: scsi1 at emx0 slot 0 rad 0
Have you any idea about this error?

not sure but could be 0x4: permission problem or data mix error. Maybe routing to a SAN forum is a starter.

Migth be a SAN-switch "zoning" misconfiguration, eg a Windows server having access to the zone reserved for your unix systems.
