EVA 3000 stuck controller

i have an EVA3000 with two controllers, one controller is working but the second is stuck in Boot Diagnostics RAM passed messsage ,

what is the Problem please?

is this controller DOA ?

During controller boot a series of TE:XX messages appear on the display, XX goes from 00 to 30 something. Each test is for a different element. At the end of the tests it should display the EVA WWN or a Fault Menu.

You will need HP to help you have the setting fixed.

You have not upgraded the CV EVA software, as my controllers went in to a continous loop when I upgraded from 7 to 8.01

I think gregersenj is right, here you have another case:

The solution on this case is to connect to the controller serial port and type a 'g'.

G will get it to boot, but if you don't get the flag changed, then it will stop, every time you reboot the controller.

Then type: df
If it's not 00000000, set it with
df 00000000
