EVA 4100 cache

Hi everyone,

In the features list I read HP EVA 4100 has 2 GB cache in each controller. I would like to know if all this memmory is available for cache or if some part of it is reserved for controller data.

EVA4100 has 4GB of memory: 2GB for controller memory and 2GB for data cache. This is for controller pair. Each controller has the half of this

Hello,

a controller pair has 4 GB cache. Each controller has 2 GB cache.

1024 MB cache for internal use
512 MB cache as read cache
256 MB cache as write cache
256 MB cache as mirror cache
