EVA-5000 and multiple Management Appliances
We have several MAs connected to an EVA-5000. If one MA goes down or is unavailable, is it possible to use the other MAs in it's place to configure disks?

Re: EVA-5000 and multiple Management Appliances
Yes! While only one Storage Management Appliance (SMA) can manage an EVA at a time you can 'take over' management ownership with CommandView EVA.
Within CV-EVA you should see all EVAs. The ones that are managed by another appliance are greyed-out. If you click on it you get a warning dialog where you can initiate the takeover.
A warning, though:
last time I checked only one SMA with BC-EVA was allowed to access a storage system at a time. I haven't tried it yet, but I beleive that the SMA with BC-EVA on it must always have management ownership of the EVAs it is working with. You cannot take ownership with SSSU.
