EVA 6400 / HSV400 will not start up
Hi all
We have this EVA 6400 2C10D which was decommissioned a while a go.
Now we have moved it to another location, were we plan to use it for testing purposses.
The system was completely disasembled and removed from the datacenter racks.
So i had to start from scratch cabling it, and powering it up.
Unfortunately we are not able to get it up running.
The OCP only shows:
HP EVA OCP
COPYRIGHT 2008
When i connect to the mfg port, both controllers outputs this on power on, and nothing more happens:

Re: EVA 6400 / HSV400 will not start up < ----here you have the solution
After a long effort here we could able to make the storage up and running
Here below I would to like to brief what we did yesterday to bring online the storage along with logs analysis,
Issues & its Solution in Brief :
- Controller DIMM issue < ----- Open the EVA controller & REPLACED the DIMM
- Cache battery issue < ------Replaced all faulty batteries with new ones.
Here I have attached a document with more details on the EVA issue & that can be made it for your future reference.
