Why do we need to enable IOD in switch when EVAs are connected.

IOD=on, DLS=off,APTPOLICY=1 is mandatory especially in the EVA CA environment, because EVA works only with the port base routing and needs the frames to come in order...

Because the EVA cannot re-order FC frames. Historically there was only one path in a fabric for a source/destination port combination at a time, so there was no need to deal with that.
