EVA issue
Hi guys,
We have one problem...
We trying to present/mount EVA8000/8100 (we use both) without reboot of Red Hat Linux Enterprise 4 server. Is this possible?
We have tried earlier but when we try to mount replicated disk group from EVA8100 we faced problem of Read Only disks.
If anyone have pointers, please tell me...
Thanks!

Re: EVA issue
It sounds like you are NOT doing a DR "Failover" using the "Fail over" button in Command View on the destination EVA, because this method presents the disks in read/write mode. If you just break replication and then present the destination disks to the server, they are, by default, in read-only mode. You can go to the Vdisk Properties, Presentation tab and change the Write Protect drop down to No.
If that isn't your issue then let us know and some others may be able to help.
