We currently have ran out of space on our EVA3000. We have plenty of space on our EVA6000 and want to move the data from 3000 to the 6000. Currently the fabrics are not attached, but they could be ( we have available GBICs on the switches ).
Our goal is to migrate all LUNs / data on the 3000 to the 6000. The hosts are running SQL, Exchange, clustering, etc.
What products ( software / hardware ) do I need to purchase to "snap" these LUNs with the hosts offline from one SAN to the other?
Thanks for your time.

Solution
You need "Continuous Access" for EVA (Replication Solutions Manager), or you can use a third party software like Veritas Volume replicator.
http://www.symantec.com/Products/enterprise?c=prodinfo&refId=3&cid=1019
Continuous Access is hardware based replication. Can work with replication Eva to Eva.
Veritas is software based replication. Can replicate betwen any storage.
