EVA vs. SNMP

Hi folks, I am kinda lost here. Is there a document on how to configure the SMA, or server acting like adn SMA to send SNMP traps fro mthe EVA to a notwork management system? I think have configuring Windows set to pass along the traps but I need to know what to do with CommandView EVA.

How about System Options > configure Host Notification on your EVA CM screen ?

Thanks. Just out of curriosity is there a way to set up traps through a telnet session into the Windows box? Due to firewall issues we can only access the EVA managers through telnet. I'm trying to keep fro mhaveing to fly acorssed the country to set this up.

WEBES is the free HP software which can monitor EVA and send out events to OSEM (Centralized management server). Both software are free.
