EVA4000 Controller Lights

G'Day Group, Just want to ask a very basic question. I have an EVA4000. Just today on the top controller I have noticed something strange and I dont recall if it has always been there or soemthing new. Its to do with the lights on the controller. I seem to recall that all green lights everywhere is a good sign. But today I noticed the top controller has an orange light now around where the battery is. I have never noticed that before. The lights on the right hand side are all green and the diska are all green. The controller underneath that there is one green light only just blinking away and the top controller there is a green light blinking and a orange light blinking. I have had a look through the event logs but nothing is evident. I cannot recall if this is normal or not. The lights I am refering to is located underneith the bezil around where the battery is. Any feedback would be very apriciated.

Cheers

John

Re: EVA4000 Controller Lights

Can you display the controller status using "Command View EVA"?
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Re: EVA4000 Controller Lights

GDay Ivan, Thanks for your interest in this. Within Command View EVA there is errors evident and is indicating that everything is ok. Green everywhere :) I am tempted to restart the controller with the orange light to see if the light transfers to the bottom controller. Ill give HP a call today anyhow and have a talk to them.

Cheers

Re: EVA4000 Controller Lights

Can you check in Command View, the "enclosure" tab in that controller? Look at the battery slots, check if they see "present" and "failed", "charging" or "charged".
