Re: EVA4100
you NEED MPIO to manage the other paths. What you see is the same disks, but over the other three standby paths. What you observed is nothing to worry about. Windows doesn't check the free space on the standby paths.
I strongly recommend that you should install MPIO for the EVA. In case of a path failure you IO will drop. With MPIO a path failure can occur without losing data.
Best regards,
Patrick

Re: EVA4100
if you install MPIO you will see only one disk. The standby paths will be filtered by the MPIO device driver.

Patrick

Re: EVA4100
I am wondering why you have not installed the MPIO DSM at the first go. I hope that the 20 gig data which you are working with is just a test data.
Anyways, please get the MPIO for your EVA is at the following link:-
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=421492&swItem=co-71731-1&prodNameId=421494&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=13&taskId=135&mode=3
Please install this ASAP.
Regards,
Sunny

Re: EVA4100
also put in mind that you need to restart the server after installing the mpio
