EVA5000 & EVA3000

Hi

I have noticed that the vendor id returned in inquiry page 83h for the EVA5000 is 0x00508b.
I also noticed that EVA5000 returns values "COMPAQ","HSV110" in its inquiry data, and that EVA3000 returns values "HP","HSV100" in its inquiry data.

I have several questions :
1. What is the vendor id returned for EVA3000?
2. Are there other HP raids (other then EVA5000 or EVA3000) that return vendor id 0x00508b?
3. What is the prefered way to indentify EVA5000 - is it by inquiry data "COMPAQ","HSV110" or by vendor id 0x00508b?
4. What is the prefered way to indentify EVA3000 - is it by inquiry data "HP","HSV100" or its vendor id?

I think 'COMPAQ' is still included in the inquiry string in order not to confuse the Windows plug and play mechanism.

The EVA5000 uses HSV110 controllers and the EVA3000 uses HSV100 controllers. That's what I would use to keep them apart.
