Hello all,
I would like to know what are the latest firmware version for the following FC Disk models:
- BF0725754B
- BF07255B2C
- BD14655B2A
- BD14656ABC
- BD14658225
Are these firmware versions available to the public? and where can I download them? Our EVAs are on VCS 3020.
Thanks!

You cannot download them yourself - please get in touch with your service provider.

Most of the comments in forums say that only HP is who performs this kind of update.

Re: EVA5000 FC Disk firmware versions
the files include off type and online type.
but no file for 3020.
According to instructions, you can power off your EVA, and upgrade your disks.

Re: EVA5000 FC Disk firmware versions
I know that there is an old image somewhere, but it no longer applies to current configurations.

I'd like to see those instructions...
I've done a few offline upgrades in our lab and watched another one that was carried out by a HP service engineer at a customer's site. In all cases we had to keep the power on, because the disk drives were updated through the controllers.
And I don't think it makes sense to power down one EVA system, carry the drives to another one and upgrade them there.

Re: EVA5000 FC Disk firmware versions
If I remember correctly, offline disk FW upgrade should be done with one controller powered off. In this case you use .sss file.
If you are planning to do an online upgrade than there are .lod files for every disk model you have. And as a first action you have to ungroup disk, upgrade it, then group it back. Usualy, one by one.
HTH,
Mario.
