EVA5000 firmware upgrade
I want to upgrade the firmware on our test bed EVA from 3.014 to 3.028 or 3.11. Can I go direct from 3.014 to 3.028 or is there a step in the middle?

Re: EVA5000 firmware upgrade
And just a reminder: HP dropped support for 3.028 December 31, 2007. The latest version is 3.110.

Re: EVA5000 firmware upgrade
Hi,
a)
there are certain host OS specifics of the online firmware upgrade from the 3.014:
In general all major Unixes exept IBM AIX support it.
Windows OS server versions supported
Linux does not support the online firmware upgrade (only offline).
b)
but always upgrade should be done during off-peak loads
c) 3.028 extended engineering support was finished in march 2008
d)
3014 is far innactive version and should be upgraded to 3110 immediately

the pain is one part of the reality
