Evaperf not recording data to log

I've just installed Evaperf v 1.0.51122 and I'm trying to record various EVA stats to counter logs, but the logs appear to have no stats in them. The log is created and timestamps are recorded, but no data is saved. Sometimes the stats that I'm trying to record won't even start, and I get an error in the event log. I can record non-EVA stats ok.

SAN is EVA6000 and evaperf is installed on HP storage server running Windows 2003 standard server.

I've run the same evaperf installation on a second SMA controlling an EVA3000, and stats are recording just fine.

Any ideas what might be wrong?
