EVAs deleting Controller Terminator Events and Controller Event logs

Hi

I am trying to clear Controller Termination Events and  Controller Events from and old P6300 EVA,

Reason: we are monitoring events and appear logs from 1970
Have followed the steps described in the link https://community.hpe.com/t5/HPE-EVA-Storage/Delete-Controller-Logs/td-p/5259582#.YPovk-j0nMU, but no success.

Anyway to remove these old events that are reporting false conditions?

Re: EVAs deleting Controller Terminator Events and Controller Event logs

Hi WilliamSmith,

Are these entries in the ABM version of Command View EVA? Or do you have a CV server installed to manage this EVA?

The ABM is the primary management source and will have 20 MB of controller logs any time. So it seems these events are picked up from the ABM.

By the way, the year 1970 is not the correct date; this timestamp will be displayed for any events those occured before the time is set on controllers (normally after a restart)

Regards,

Hi Williamsmith

I think you can ignore them. Anything specific why you do not want to see them anymore?
