FCIP Gateway and EVA Replication
Hi there,
I am trying to implement two FCIP gateway devices for use with EVA8100s and CA replication.
I have been following a few of the forums and I have managed to find the missing steps to make the FC-IP gateway devices to connect to each other. So at the moment I can see the 4 SAN switches and both EVA's from either SAN management console.
I have completed the zoning and is all was working perfectly - however I now have the problem that any time I put traffic down the link for aynchronous replication the FCIP routes die. A reboot or recreating them will bring them up for a short period of time, but then they stop working again. It initially started with one FCIP route and is now affecting both.
Here is the relevant information about the environment
2 sites
2 x 4/32B SAN switches at each site running 6.1.0g
EVA 8100s running XCS 6200
1 MPX device at each site, with 2.4.3.0 firmware.
Site 1 has 2 x 1GBps links bound to seperate VRFs for replication
Site 2 has 1 x 1Gbps link separated into 3 VRFs at the customer router, providing user access, internet and replication.
At the moment the link has been guaranteed at 20Mbps at each site, as we will only be using 4 DR groups.
Does anybody know where I can start looking as I don’t have a clue
Andrew
