Fibre Channel Controller Status Change.
We are getting the above error most of the times.
Is there any way to check the The Fibre Channel Controller status other than HP system home page,to make sure that the error is true.
Please suggest me to resolve the above issue.
Thanks in advance

Re: Fibre Channel Controller Status Change.
I want to know the above error is true or it is false error so that we can ignore.
In some of the HP support documents some one states that it can be ignorable.

Re: Fibre Channel Controller Status Change.
- what FC adapter?
- is the adapter connected to an FC switch or hub?
- does the status flip between 2(ok) and 6(failed)?

Re: Fibre Channel Controller Status Change.
You have to Let us know the type of the setup;
This might be due to
1) Hardware issues on the end device
2) Switch / Hub port issues
3) CPQFCAC notification driver needs to be
updated (Older versions had loads of issues)
Is there any way to check the The Fibre Channel Controller status other than HP system home page?
Yes : Software mentioned below will let you immedeately check which devices are seen and how many paths are available

Re: Fibre Channel Controller Status Change.
The issue was resolved.
SAN team was disabled the multiple path so that I am getting this error.
One of Fibre Channel Controller shows loop failed status the other one is ok.
