firmware 4.4.0 for SAN switch 2/16V

Hi,

Have to upgrade my switch to firmware v5.1.0
I am starting from v4.2.2b
The procedure tells me to upgrade to v4.4.0 before I can go to v5.1.0d
But v5.1.0 is the only version I can download.
Does anybody know where I can download v4.4.0?

Hi,

do you have access to Brocade Partner Network? It's available for download there.
I also have it here as a 79MB zip file, but that's a bit difficult to attach or e-mail.

Do you know the location where I can find it on this site?

After logging in, under "For Technical Professionals", select Downloads
Then select Fabric Operating System Releases, Fabric OS v4.4.x, and take 4.4.0c (not all releases were supported by HP).

Luk,

I would make sure that you have a way to revert back to the v4.2.2b.

We had a bad mishap in our environment when we went from v4.4.0d to v5.1. I had to call support for the v4.4.0d download so we could go back.

Andy:

Do you still have the link for the 4.4.0d firmware? I could just as easily search the HP ftp site, but there are 6 directories now I think.

Steven,

I had a heck of a time finding it on the web. I finally called HP support and they gave me a temporary ftp account where I downloaded it from.
