firmwaredownload error

Hi,

I try to upgrade the firmware of HP Storageworks SAN Switch 4/8 (brocade).

sw01:admin> version
Kernel: 2.4.19
Fabric OS: v5.1.0d
Made on: Tue Aug 8 18:26:15 2006

i try to upgrade v5.2.1b

what was the command you used to update the firmware? and what entries did you give it?

Or, if you did this from the web gui...

what was the path you specified for the firmware?


1. Did you extract the firmware to a directory on your ftp server?

2. If you just extact the files, the default path should be v5.2.1b/release.plist

after the firmwaredownload command, this prompts follows
Do you want to continue [Y]: y
Server Name or IP Address: your ftp address
User Name: your ftp account
// try this format to start the download from
File Name: /v5.2.1b/release.plist

v5.3.0d
v6.0.0b
v6.1.0d

and the path correct is:

Example:
v6.0.0b/release.plist
