Hard Disk Extension

Hi I have an MSA1000 with Linux hosts attached. All the harddrives installed are of 146 GB each configured as RAID 1. I want to update one unit with two 300 GB Hard disks without loosing any data. The procedure that I know is (Please correct me if I am wrong) that I will remove one 146 GB hardrive and will replace it with 300 GB, MSA will start rebuilding RAID on it when the process is complete i will have to remove the second 146GB harddrive with 300 GB.

But now my question is through CLI how can I extend this unit to 300 GB because it will be of 146 GB before extension.
