Help looking for IO errors DL380 G6 - QL - Switch - MSA2312FC
Hi,
I am getting some random slow response times from my Oracle database. I have 2 DL380 G6 and MSA2312 cluster + HA kit consisting of 2 SAN switches and two MSA controllors and a MSA 2313FC.
How can I look at the card statistics under Linux to look for errors.
Thanks
john

Re: Help looking for IO errors DL380 G6 - QL - Switch - MSA2312FC
Hi, what kind of FC HBA do you have installed?
For the Emulex you can use the HBAnywhere and for Qlogic you can use the SANsurfer.
On the SAN switch (if it's a brocade one) you can also run "porterrshow" (i think..) to see if there are errors being reported on the switch side. Type help, several other commands you can use.
