High Number of Error Statistics
Hello, everyone,
From last Friday, port 0 of Brocade Switch(3800) cannot be accessed. After resetting the port, the problem seems solved. However, after one or two day's running, the problem recurred. I found the statistics of encoding error, loss of sync and link failure is considerably high. Can I suspect cable connected with port 0 is defective?
Pls see attachment for detailed log.
Thanks in advance.

Re: High Number of Error Statistics
Yes, it could be cable, it could be brocade SFP or XP128's SFP. I would change switch's SFP first. BTW, why one of XP ports is running at 1GB and another at 2GB?
Which hosts are in the SAN (hpux or windows)? I see HP HBAs installed...

Re: High Number of Error Statistics
Hello,
I have replaced Brocade's SFP, but problem still exists.
