How do I know the whihc ctd it is on an EVA8100

Hello everyone,

We just migrated to an EVA8100 from an EMC Clarrion. When I look at a Vdisk via CommandView how do I know which CTD it is on the host.

Thanks,

The Vdisk was presented to an HPUX 11.23 machine.

I think the "EVAinfo" program gives you this information:

evainfo is the most easy tool, but you can also "read" the LUN number from the hardware path listed in ioscan.

Hope this helps!

Hi, in Command View, if you select a vdisk, you can see it's UUID in the "General" tab, and which server it is presented to, and which LUN in the "Presentation" tab.
You can then correlate this information with the one displayed on ioscan or spmgr display. For example:

TGT/LUN Device WWLUN_ID H/W_Path #_Paths
0/ 3 c16t0d3 6005-08B4-0010-003D-0000-7000-00BA-0000 4
