How to add drver to MSA1500 and don't need to restart

Hello All,

I isntall three Ultra320,160GB drivers into msa30 of msa1500 and I can't see them from ACU. I think msa1500 need to restart but my customer can't reboot the SAN recently. How to finish the job?

The MSA1500 does not need a reboot to recognize disk drives that have been hot-plugged. Something else is wrong.

Is this a MSA30 SB or DB (single or dual bus)? Maybe it is a DB and only one bus is connected.

I think you are right. My customer's MSA30 is DB. I will install second SCSI card to msa1500.
BTW,May I isntall the card on-line?

the SCSI I/O module has a red handle, so it is hot-pluggable.
