Re: How to check the version of HBA card's driver?

Use HBAnywhere if you have Emulex card and SANSurfer if you have QLogic card.

To check the driver version you even don't need any of the above but can be checked from Windows Device Manager.

Steps to start Device Manager and Check the driver ver:

Open Device Manager by right clicking My Computer and then left click on Manage. (go go from control panel > system > device manager)

In right pane of Device manager you will see SCSI and RAID Controller, expand it and right click on appropriate HBA - and check PROPERTIES. You will see Driver tab, and the version of HBA Windows driver is listed there.

Another way is to look at the Fabric Name service display on the fabric the FCA is connected to (either on the GUI or via the CLI nsshow command).

The listing will show *all* the driver information for all the active FCAs, so you have a one-stop shop for the data....

Log into your fabric, identify the port your server is connected and you'll find the WWN's
if it's a brocade you'll find this information on the zoning configuration.

As Amardeep said, you can use HBAnywhere(emulex) or SanSurfer (qlogic) to check the driver and firmware of the HBA
