How to get SAN Manager software
How can I get the SAN Manager software? I get this message from SAM, telling me I need SAN manager:
The command used to retrieve information about HP SureStore VirtualArray has failed.
The command, /opt/sanmgr/commandview/client/sbin/armdsp, is either not present or is not executable. Please be sure the array software utilities have been installed.
I checked, and /opt/sanmgr is not there. I guess the customer gets this software if they order an SC10, but internally, we get the device and hunt for the software. :)
thanks for any help.

Re: How to get SAN Manager software
You need to obtain "hp surestore command view sdm storage device management" CD.
. This is a license-to-use softwareand. The part number of the sw I am using is 5697-4809

Re: How to get SAN Manager software
Mark,
The Command View SDM is indeed what you need. Provided that you purchased this product from H-P you should have the required license. The URL for the updated software download, Version 1.04 is :
http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/cposupport/swindex.pl?p=hpsurestor30591&l=en&c=Software
HTH,
Dave
P.S. You must be running HP-UX version B.11.00 or above for the Command View SDM to run.
