How to migration data from MSA1000 to MSA p2000 G3
We plan to replace the MSA1000 with MSA p2000 G3. There are 8X300G hard drives with raid1+0. The data is about 1T bytes. I don't know how to migrate the data from MSA1000 to MSA p2000 G3. Does HP have any guide?
Our MSA1000 is running more than eight years and basically it work fine. But I am afraid that it will crash someday. How about the general lifetime of the SAN?

Re: How to migration data from MSA1000 to MSA p2000 G3
Hi!
One way to do it would be to have a server in between them that have access to the disks from each MSA.
Then you should be able to copy files from the MSA1000 onto the disks on the P2000 G3.
Unsure if there is another way to do it, but most likely you would have to put something inbetween that does the actual copying/migrating for you.
