How to use a snapshot or snapclone in Windows 2003

I successfully create SnapShot or SnapClone. However, after present them to a host (windows 2003 server), a disk management detects them as a foreign disk. I can't convert it to simple disk and mount to Windows 2003 server.

Is there have another step to mount SnapShot or SnapClone to Windows 2003 server ?

Hi,

are you presenting the source vdisk and the Snapshot to the same host? Windows will get confused if you do that, because both disks have the exact same signature. In Windows you cannot present an original vdisk and its snapshot/snapclone to the same host.

Sorry, I take back my comment. Looks like you are allowed to present source and copy to the same host, as long as it's not a cluster quorum.

No points for me please!
