Thanks, so let's make that:

84 disks * 250HWGB = 21.0 HWTB - 4*250(HWGB)(protection) = 20HWTB
108 disks * 300HWGB = 32.4 HWTB - 4*300(HWGB)(protection) = 31.2HWTB

total: 51.2 Hardware TB, about 47.49 Software TB
thats even more aligned to EVA's 47TB you have mentioned

The 300GB disk is shown by the EVA as '279.39 SWGB', that'll be 299.99 HWGB.
Can you, please, look up the SWGB value for a FATA disk as I don't have the exact value handy? - it's on the disk's properties page, thanks!

There is always 'some space' missing due to true metadata overhead, but we have come quite close, haven't we?

Have you tried the rest of the calculations?

The fata is showing 233GB for a 250 GB drive. Now I havent done the calculation because I am going to review your final numbers. Thanks
