HP MSA2012fc - Disk channel error
Hi,
"Show eventlog" command is full of Controller A and B INFORMATIONAL messages. These messages contain Disk channel error.
The error code is I/O Timeout cdb:030000001200.
I am worried about the number of messages

Re: HP MSA2012fc - Disk channel error
Do you think that it is good idea restart controller? Maybe events show something different. I am a little worried.
Thanks so much!

Re: HP MSA2012fc - Disk channel error
I looked the Event Descriptions Reference Guide msa2000. Event 59 says:
Info. The controller detected a non-parity error while communicating with the indicated SCSI device. The error was detected by the controller, not the disk. Recommended actions • No action is required.
I also realized that the SN:3QP1QMLC00009934Q60C is the disk 0. However, the disk 0 does not appear in the array. I looked: show disks command and the disk 0 had disappeared . Then, I call the customer and disk 0 led had turned on. I proceed to change the disc

Your version (J200) is much older!
Hope this helps!
