HSG80, SecurePath 3.1 and Windows 2003 don't mix
First of all we are working on getting our HSG80 upgrades to 8.8. We are currently at 8.6S-3.
The server is a new DL580G2. We wanted to set it up with redundant paths to the SAN using 2 HBA cards. I was able to get the server to see the drives I set up, but it was seeing double.
So I tried to install SecurePath 4.0C, but apparently it was only the upgrade version, so I figured I'd install 3.1. It installed fine, had a thing about an unsigned driver, but no errors. Rebooted since it asked and it went into a forever reboot. Unhooked Fibre Channel cables and it booted fine. I then removed SecurePath 3.1 and rebooted again. Came up fine. Hooked in the Fibre and rebooted, it almost loads all the way, but locks up during boot. If I unhook the Fibre it works fine.
I know it is that driver that is causing it, I thought I found it, RAIDISK.SYS and renamed it, but that didn't work.
Can anyone help me get my server back to normal so I can hook to the SAN and the server boot normally?

Re: HSG80, SecurePath 3.1 and Windows 2003 don't mix
SP 4.0B is the minimum version for W2003!
You need to completely uninstall 3.1 and install 4.0B.
If that doe not work a good backup will help :( !
Cheers
