I am not a Solaris techie but if everything looks fine from CV EVA then try unpresent/present the vdisk again. Also check if your sun server is logging into your san switch or not.

These are the basis steps which you can give a try

Have you checked zoning?
If it works out good -- then you may try rebooting your Solaris machine again.

Maybe your Solaris boxen started ahead of your SAN?

Re: HSV200 LUN undetected from SUN M4000 Server

thanks for reply,

BV, I have already did that Unpresent/Present but nothing happen. Solaris still cannot detect HSV200 as Disk only as Array Controller Device.

Alzhy, this is result after run command for zoning.
ID NAME STATUS PATH BRAND IP
0 global running / native shared
and what is corelation between zoning and storage ?
by theway... I had already restart solaris several times and nothing changes

Re: HSV200 LUN undetected from SUN M4000 Server

Zoning is a scheme on your SAN Switch to define WWIDs of devices (targets - arrays and initiators - HBAs) to "see" each other.

So in your case, look for a "zone" definition that has the WWIDs of your M4000 and your EVA disk arrray.

What SAN Switch do you have? I only am familiar with Brocade switches so I can't help you on how to display your Zone definitions or port status on your SAN switch.
