IP mirror prob using CASA
Hi Gurus,
We have one VA7100 connected with HP UX box which is mirrored to remote disaster site to another VA7100 connected with HP UX Box. We are using HP's CASA for replication. This is ip mirror thro WAN link. On remote site, locally we have FCP mirror in the VA7100.
We want to test the disaster scenerio. we are breaking the fcp mirror and mapping all luns to the server and tested for database working condition. It was working for quite long time.
Now we are facing the following prob:-
When we tried to resync the FCP mirror in remote site, the ip queues are increasing in the main site. That meeans nothing is replicated to remote site.
So once again we paused the fcp mirror, and then paused the ip mirror. Then we started resync the ip mirror, now ip replication is going on.
Whenever we start the fcp mirror, the ip queues are increasing. And we need to pause the the fcp mirror to resync the ip mirror.
Today once again we want to test the disaster scenerio, please help me to get out from this issue.
Regards
