Lan free backup

There are one EVA and Arcserve 12.5 in one company which I'm going to implement LANfree backup on it, how is it possible to use BC license and making a new LUN and then presenting it to the Backup server, and arcserve can take backup of my exchange files "without" using Exchange server??????

Hi,

You have to use MS VSS framework in combination with EVA Hardware Provider to achieve it. In addition, you will have to have a VSS requestor that will initialize the replica creation. As requestor, you can use HP Data Protector that has a tight integration with HP EVA.
