Does anyone know what is the latest supported BIOS and Support Pack for the San Management Appliance I and II is?
My SMA I is running on BIOS version 2001.04.02 while the latest version is 2002.12.18
My SMA II is running on BIOS version 2001.12.11 while the latest version is 2004.05.01
Both SMA are on Support Pack 6.4 while the latest version out is 7.10A.
I was wondering if I should update these but couldn't find any documents on HP's site.
Thanks

Solution
HP does not support upgrading your SMA's bios and support pack directly. You should use the OSM 2.1 Upgrade to get the latest supported software for the SMA, then grab the latest MS Security fixes and updates and install.
Check here... http://h18006.www1.hp.com/products/sanworks/softwaredrivers/managementappliance/index.html for these things and to order OSM 2.1.
The bios, I believe, is not part of the software upgrade and can probably be downloaded seperately, but I would have to call HP to confirm. Maybe next time I am on the phone with the Storage Support Team.

Re: Latest Bios and Support Pack for SMA??
Thanks for the info. I guess we will have to wait for any new updates.
