LUNs in Host Group
Hi
I wanted to know that how many LUns ,I can have in a host group .

Hi avamar,
what type of storage are you talking about here? I presume XP but its different between 1024 and 12000 etc.
For the 1024 it is 256 per host group and 512 per port. To have the max of 512 per port you need to have LUN security turned on (using Host Groups).
For the 12000 its increased to 1024 per port.
These number are theoretical though as it relates to the queue depth on the port so if you go to the maximum you risk overrunning your queue depth on your port.
