Max Disk/Device Capacity for RAID 10 on HSG80 Array Controller
I'm interested in learning the maximum number of disks or devices that can be added in a RAID 10 configuration under this particular setup. (Not capacity of disks, just the physical amount of disks I can add to the array)
I have a 6 bus system with 14 bays a piece. If anyone has information or knows of a place that they might be able to point me for more information I'd appreciate it.
Thanks

Re: Max Disk/Device Capacity for RAID 10 on HSG80 Array Controller
Sorry, I mean Raid 1/0 or Raid 0/1. (also known as Raid 10) Its a mirrored stripe. I'm just wondering if anyone knows the device capacity in a setup such as mine under this level of Raid. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Max Disk/Device Capacity for RAID 10 on HSG80 Array Controller
Hi,
I think you can find information here:
ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/supportinformation/techpubs/installation_guides/387402-001.pdf
Raid 10 (Striped Mirrorset) seems to be as follow:
24 mirrorsets in one stripeset
6 disks in each mirrorsets
48 disks in the entire striped mirrorset
