Microsoft Fibre channel platform registration service

Hi All,

Has any one come across this error before on windows 2008?

 

 

"The Fibre Channel Platform Registration Service could not register the platform with fabric switch" . The window service generating the error is FCRegsvc . what does this service do? No detail information received from microsoft technet and google search about this service. How does the service interract with fabric switch?

It's possible what yo have aplied the default polici from SCM (Security Compliance Manager), where Microsoft propouse this services as authotmatic.
