Hi All,
We just received our new EVA8000. We currently have 2 EVA4000's. Once the EVA8000 has been configured, we will be moving the data from the EVA4000's to the EVA8000.
Can anyone offer their expertise on how and what tool to use to get the data over to the new EVA8000? The current environment has windows and unix servers attached.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Ray:
The easiest way to move mass data is to get a temp CA-EVA key. HP usually offers a 60day temp key (or 30day, don't remember) for such an adventure (as well as others).
Then you just configure the EVA to EVA replication, when finished.. present your new VD's on the 8000 to your servers.
For Windows clusters, you may want to use the Cluster Recovery Utility to make sure you have the right disk signatures and such.
