I need to upgrade some p-Class Brocade 4Gbps switches from their current version v5.0.5c.
Unfortunately the next lowest firmware version on the website is v5.3.1a and the instructions for this version specfically require at least an interim upgrade to v5.2.1b.
Does anyone know where I can get some older versions of the firmware?

Re: Missing Brocade firmware versions
Hi,
I think if you call HP, you can obtain the firmware by their external site more quickly.
They always put the newest firmware on the website but not the oldest.

Solution
Hi,
maybe the 5.1.0 will be sufficient in the upgrade path:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software7/COL15014/co-39912-1/v5.1.0.zip

the pain is one part of the reality

Re: Missing Brocade firmware versions
Awesome, thanks for your help. It's a shame HP doesn't have an obvious public searchable index for their FTP site.
For reference to anyone else I browsed around and found a 5.2 version here:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software8/COL10643/co-48535-1/v5.2.1b.zip
