Move array from MSA1500cs to MSA1000
We need to move arrays from what we call SANBOX3 (MSA1500cs fw=5.02 with 2xMSA20 and 2xMSA30 shelfs, full of drives) to SANBOX1 (MSA1000 fw=4.48 with built in shelf).
Is this possible? Can we move an entire MSA 30 shelf?
What I have read so far indicates that upgrading all SANBOXes to fw=5.20 should allow this to happen.
However, I am not convinced it will work.
We even tried to move a single disk "array" from SANBOX2 (another MSA1000 fw=4.48 with two attached MS30s) to the SANBOX1 (see above) and it did not show the LUN we had made.
Can someone helps us know what out options are?
I have attached the detailed screen shoots from our ACU...
