MPIO Linux & SANSurfer path failover configuration problems
Hello,
I've installed two FCA2214 on a Suse 9 enterprise linux server. Also have installed SANSurfer Manager to setup these HBAs.
The problem is that I cannot be able to configure Primary/Failover paths, and the system see two times the same LUN.
Reading the documentation,iIt seems that in this version of SANSurfer are missing some features, but this is the last release on the HP website.
Attached the SANSurfer screenshots with the situation.
Can anyone help me to solve this problem ?
thanks in advance
kind regards
Davide

Re: MPIO Linux & SANSurfer path failover configuration problems
I've missed to tell that the primary path must to be the 1st HBA, where there are EVA controllers and Tape Library

Re: MPIO Linux & SANSurfer path failover configuration problems
The problem is solved with a hardware shutdown.
With a software shutdown or reboot the hbas configuration was not applied
