Re: MSA 1500 cant remove connections from SSP
Establish a CLI terminal session to the msa1500 controller. Run show connections and then delete the appropriate connection.
hth,
Greg

Re: MSA 1500 cant remove connections from SSP
Under SSP,
Change host mode back to "default", then rename the connection name back to "Unknown". It will prompt to save information. Connection is removed.

Re: MSA 1500 cant remove connections from SSP
i have the latest ACU and the only way i can delete a connection is using the CLI... it cant be too hard to provide this functionality in the ACU

Re: MSA 1500 cant remove connections from SSP
i have a connection i no longer want. if i name it "BOB" and then go to the cli and type "delete connection BOB" it deletes it.
i go back into SSP and the HBA in question is still there but is named to "Unknown" i see the connection is "Online" i dont know how because it is not in a zone that can see this controller... to make sure i open up the ACU on the server in question and it can not see the controller that i am trying to remove the connection from.
I have now removed the fibre out of the HBA but the connection is still showing as "Online" in SPP.
any ideas??

Re: MSA 1500 cant remove connections from SSP
On that HBA, set Host Profile to default, -> Set Connection name -> Unknow. It should prompt you to save.
