MSA 1500 Performance statistics

I have recently got a MSA1500 and am looking or some performance statistics on the array itself. I am mainly looking to see how my LUN's are performing and if possible full performance from the HBA's to the disks.
Do I need Storage Essentials for this and can Proliant Essentials give me the information I need ?
I am going to be increasing my number of ESX servers and want to see where my bottleneck if any will be on the MSA.

Personally, I'd use some of the commands from the MSA CLI. Check out SHOW STATS command.
