MSA1000 Active/Active Performance
Does anyone know if there are any substantial performance gains going from an Active/Passive to Active/Active configuration on the MSA1000?

Re: MSA1000 Active/Active Performance
You can check release notes:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=377751&swItem=co-47232-1&prodNameId=305215&swEnvOID=181&swLang=13&taskId=135&mode=4&idx=0
Enhancements
Adds MSA1000 active/active support
Provides heterogeneous array support
Provides heterogeneous operating system access from Windows/Linux/HPUX hosts to single MSA1x00
Supports persistent reservations â required by some multi-path and clustering applications
Provides enhanced rebuild and expand performance when priority is set to Medium or High
Increases default stripe size for RAID 5 and 6 (ADG) volumes from 16KB to 64KB. This results in performance improvement for most applications.
Adds support for the 750GB SATA hard drive installed in the MSA20
Provides identification of system uptime on CLI output
Adds advanced SATA hard drive diagnostics
..Fixes
Cache management â Improves cache management to prevent I/O errors in the following situations:
During a LUN failover while the MSA controller is performing RAID migration or expansion under a heavy load
Preventing persistent host I/Os from bypassing cache when cache is dirty on powerup
Preventing I/O timeouts in cases where many implicit failover events occur within a short period of time
Default profile â With version 7.00 of the firmware, the default profile loads the correct host mode settings after upgrading from an earlier release of firmware. This was not the case when upgrading to version 6.86 from an earlier version; in this situation, the default profile might not have loaded the correct host mode settings when assigned to a host connection. Any host connection that was left set to â Defaultâ and not set to the correct host mode profile, such as Windows or Linux, would fail to load support software, such as the ACU, event notification driver, or multi-path software

I doubt that.
