MSA1000 and setting up FCA2214 parameters
Hi,
Our MSA1000 seems to provide poor performance.
I have read recent posts about and would like to find out where is "queue depth" setting in FCA2214 HBA.
There is Advanced Setting in Fast!Util named Execution Throttle (default 16). Is it "queue depth" for the the HBA (as description in manual seems to suggest)?
There is also seting: >4GByte Addressing.
As we use >10GB of RAM per server i would be interested in using it. Anyone experienced performance change?
I am not sure how IOCB Allocation parameter affects performance, too. Please share.
Unfortunatelly i may perform changes and tests (i use sqlio so far, have current baseline set) for 1 hour once a month using one of the hooked up servers (at night-low load) and need to be well prepared :)
Regards,
Kamil
