MSA1000 Disk device failed to initialize
I have just completed replacing all the 72GB disks in an MSA1000 with 300GB disks.
Took a long time, by pulling one disk, rebuild, then replace.
All seemed to go well, but the new disk space was not being recognised by Netware.
Gave the servers a few days to complete restriping, then did a complete power down and restart.
I now have no volumes at all on Netware.
Startup log says
CPQSHD: The COMPAQ MSA1000 VOLUME 500805F30005FE60 (4.48) disk device
failed to initialize. This device will be deactivated.
Can anyone offer any suggestions?
