MSA1000 with Fabric Switch 6, Yellow Bang in Device Manager
I installed the HP StorageWorks Fibre Channel Array Notification Driver for Windows 2000/Server 2003, version 5.30.0.32, but I still have a yellow bang in the device manager and every time when I restart the DL580G2 I got a message: "new hardware device found".
Does anybody have a solution??
Thanks a lot.

Re: MSA1000 with Fabric Switch 6, Yellow Bang in Device Manager
Hi
To fix the problem you need to download the HBA driver kit. If it is Qlogic Fibre card use this link
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=315741&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=315739&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=1005
if it is an Emulex adapter like a use this link
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=371519&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=371517&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=1005
Once you have downloaded the kit, run the .exe instead of installing the driver, extract the driver to a directory. Then go to device manager and select the "Fabric Switch 6" right click on the device and select upgrade driver, take the option to manually specify the location for the driver. Point towards the directory where extracted the HBA driver the select the .inf file "cpqc8sw-w2k3.inf" once the driver has been installed you problem should be fixed
